The Technical Services Team offers comprehensive services that improve your total plant operations—from the wet end to the dry end of your corrugator. Learn more about all the services we provide:

Corrugator Services
Mechanical Survey and Quality Improvement Appraisal: This review of operating conditions includes a check of steam vessel temperature, equipment alignment and level, steam trap efficiency, gap parallelism analysis, combined board analysis and more. In addition to these checks, the service includes an evaluation of present operating techniques and suggestions on a wide range of equipment modifications and installations to further improve board performance quality and productivity.

Audit Corrugator Mechanical Engineering Audit: This service offers a full physical examination of the corrugator and its individual components. The service is implemented in four phases—an initial coordination meeting, an audit, a briefing with the management team and a follow-up visit to ensure that the customer has received the maximum benefit from the mechanical audit. Areas improved by this audit include increased productivity and decreased waste, downtime, overtime and energy costs.

Corrugator Crew/Maintenance Training Seminar: This training is geared to corrugating crews and maintenance personnel that work on the corrugator. It includes "on the machine" training and covers the mechanical functions of each piece of equipment. Attendees learn essential preventative maintenance checks and adjustments. Topics include starch adhesive application, flute formation, wet end mechanical checks and adjustments and steam/temperature checks.

Maintenance Force Training Seminar: Geared for maintenance personnel, this seminar covers the functions of each piece of equipment mechanically, reviewing how each component affects the runnability and quality of board produced. Hands-on and plant-specific, attendees learn trouble-shooting techniques to solve day-to-day operating problems and to identify weak mechanical areas of the corrugator.

Press and Finishing Services
Press/Finishing Operator/Maintenance/Supervision Training Seminar: Designed for training crews, maintenance and supervision, participants will learn to understand the causes of quality and productivity problems in the press and finishing area and learn how to audit presses with definitive numerical parameters to predict machine component failure.

Energy Services
Boiler analysis: This service determines the combustion efficiency of your boiler with a portable flue gas analyzer. Efficiencies can often be improved with a quick "tune-up" by the boiler manufacturer or local "steam representative," and can be easily converted into savings on fuel costs. The analysis also calculates oxygen (O2), nitrous oxide (NO), carbon monoxide (CO) and NOx levels. Test results can be used to ensure compliance with federal and/or state standards.
